Digestive Balance for Equine, Purina Equine
Digestive Balance for Equine, Purina Equine
Purina Digestive Balance is an oral gastsrointestinal support supplement that supports gastrointestinal health, normal gastric pH and beneficial gut microbiome.
Purina Digestive Balance Supplement is formulated to support gastric health and proper pH. It is estimated that up to 90 percent of active horses experience gastric discomfort, affecting health, attitude and performance. Common activities including stall confinement, exercise, transportation, weaning and few environments such as events and shows are known to cause stress and gastric discomfort. Purina Digestive Balance was developed by our Equine Nutritionists to support a healthy gastric environment.
Digestive Balance contains postbiotics to give valuable intestinal health and microbiome support. This wonder formula also includes zinc as well as marine-source calcite so your horse can maintain optimal gastrointestinal performance - all while keeping low levels of starch and sugars in their diet.
More than 70 percent of your horse’s immune system is found in their gut. That’s why gut health is linked to immune health. It’s also why probiotics, prebiotics, and postbiotics are an essential part of keeping your horses healthy. So what’s the difference between prebiotics, probiotics, and postbiotics?
Probiotics are the “good” or “friendly” bacteria that promote a healthy digestive tract and work to break down and digest food. Prebiotics are fuel for probiotics, support their growth, and help the immune system keep bad bacteria under control. When you feed prebiotics to probiotics, you get postbiotics. Simply put, prebiotics + probiotics = postbiotics.
